Clayton before Mommy gave him his very first haircut. June 20, 2005
Clayton, after his first haircut. It's really hard to cut a baby's hair when he's squirming.
Jaina and Rebecca (double cousins) had a birthday party together. Jaina turned 12 and Rebecca turned 5.

Clayton fell asleep in his highchair one afternoon. I guess he got tired of waiting for his busy Mommy to put him in the crib. "No more Froot Loops, Mom, please. I just want a nap!"
Joel helped wash dishes at Grandma Judy's house.

Look at the brownish-yellow area in the center of the picture. That's hundreds and hundreds of bees hanging off each other in our maple tree out back. The kids were playing back there and I was in the kitchen. I heard them laughing and looked out the window. There was a cloud of bees hovering over our backyard. The kids thought it was so hysterical to see all these things flying above them. When I realized what they were I was terrified and rushed the kids back into the house. Eventually all the bees settled in the tree and hung there for a day. Then they were gone.
Brina took the boys for a walk in the bike trailer and they both fell asleep.
Rebecca with her ever-present puppies. She sleeps with them every night.
What a goofy face! Clayton enjoys sitting in the grass on a nice evening

Grandpa John
We ladies had a night out. We stayed at the Residence Inn in Minneapolis and pampered ourselves silly. L-R: me, Nichole, Sabrina, Pam (Sabrina's and my mom), Lori, Judy (our mother-in-law, Lori's mom), Joyce
Rebecca drew on herself with Washable Crayola markers one day. She told me, "I'm a cat." That heart on her neck is the collar.

Rebecca and Joel with our snowman.
These are our meeting kids, minus Lydia who hadn't been born yet. We have 11 kids in our meeting now! L-R: Joel, Rebecca, Ceceilia, Ayla, Micah, Jacob, Clayton, Morgan, Paris, Makenzie.
John, Rebecca and Joel went ice-skating this past winter. Joel just "skated" in his boots.
This spring we've done a lot of sprucing up here to get our house ready to put up for sale. Here the white parts of the garage were being painted.
