Okay, okay. I get the hint. My sister reminded me that I haven't updated this in sooo long. She doesn't have internet at home, so she looks at it when she goes to the library. My blog didn't have new pictures posted the last two times she checked. That's pretty bad!! Well, here's a few to tide you over until next time. Posted by Picasa

Clayton and John on our "new" yard tractor. John's dad bought it brand new years ago. It still runs great. The kids fight to get rides on it. Of course, we're pretty much done mowing our lawn for this year. They'll have to wait quite awhile for their next ride. Posted by Picasa

Rebecca on her first day of school. She was sooo excited. We waited and waited for the bus but it wasn't coming. John said maybe I would have to drive her in. Rebecca insisted that she would wait there all day. Her mother was not driving her to school on her first day. Posted by Picasa

Yay, it's coming!! Posted by Picasa

Finally the bus came, after an agonizing 35 minutes of waiting. It was 20 minutes late, and we got to the bus stop early. Posted by Picasa

Rebecca at Taylor's Falls. This is what she calls her "five-year-old smile." Posted by Picasa

Hannah, Zach, Rebecca and Bailey at Aunt Sharie's annual Labor Day gathering. Posted by Picasa

Rebecca and Bailey. They're only a year apart, but Bailey is pretty petite and Rebecca is on the taller side. Posted by Picasa

Grandma Pam with Clayton. They both look like they were sufficiently filled from lunch and are ready for a good nap. Posted by Picasa

Joel loves Aunt Sharie's pies. When I told him we'd be going to her house he asked, "Pie there?" Posted by Picasa

Clayton was taking his first steps here. Of course, this isn't a very good action picture. From the looks of things he's just standing there. He was walking though, in real life. Posted by Picasa

John worked hard at putting up a banister in the living room so Clayton wouldn't go plunging over the edge.  Posted by Picasa

Clayton tried his hand at imitating an airplane. He rather enjoyed it, I think. Posted by Picasa

My Sunbird...given to John's nephew Neal *sniff* I'll miss that car. Posted by Picasa

Joel, looking particularly handsome (his mother's opinion!) Posted by Picasa

Arnold, Sheila, and Andrew Cameron with Hazel Schraw at our house. This was Sheila's first time to come back to the U.S. in over a year since she'd married a Canadian. Posted by Picasa

A picture of our family after a potluck one Sunday a few weeks ago. Posted by Picasa

Clayton...I love this picture of him. Posted by Picasa

The boys and I went to have lunch with Rebecca one day at school. First, though, we got to see her demonstrate her monkey bars skills. Posted by Picasa

Lunch was a chicken sandwich, kiwi, carrot sticks and milk. (Not extremely tasty...I won't go on chicken sandwich day anymore unless they start using real chicken.) Rebecca was glad to have company.  Posted by Picasa

Joel sat for a few minutes to hear a story from Uncle Delmar in the hospital waiting room. We were there visiting Grandpa Stockwell who'd had triple bypass surgery the day before. Posted by Picasa

Clayton also enjoyed hearing a story from Uncle Delmar Posted by Picasa

Clayton finally settled down with a good book on the way home from seeing his great-Grandpa Stockwell in the hospital Posted by Picasa
