At our South St. Paul house, after we moved all our furniture (including beds!) but before the kids and I moved. It was not a fun week. John was living at the new house, in the camper so he could work on things there before we moved in.

Rebecca's bedroom. The wallpaper has to go! Eventually we'll get all the little things taken care of. 

Boy's bedroom. Joel now has a twin-sized bed instead of the toddler bed.

Too hard, too hard

I'm trying to update this blog, and not having too much luck. I sent the pictures in logical order, and the blog posts them in the opposite order. It didn't send a couple pictures I asked it to, and now it says I'm not authorized to add to this blog. I was a couple minutes ago!! Grrr. So anyway, if you notice that the order doesn't make much sense, I got too frustrated with it to change it. It's late and I'm tired, and I always have trouble with this thing!! (I completely blame myself for that.) Bear with me as I try to add more. Of course, they'll be on top of this post, which is not where I want them!!! Oh well...onward.

And after. The walls were never painted...they just always had that lovely wallpaper on them. We'll work on painting this room eventually. But the floor is new! Previously it had red shag. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of that. 

This is the downstairs bathroom. (The BEFORE picture. Let's get that straight!!)

We bought a new house in Forest Lake, MN. For a couple weeks we had two houses, because we closed on this one Aug. 11, and our old house in South St. Paul Aug. 26. We took advantage of those two weeks to get all new flooring put in the new house. Boy, did it ever need that!! Below are some "before and after" pictures. We still have lots of work to do, but that was the biggest job.
